A gorgeous fall wedding at The Buckeye Barn in Piqua, Ohio. A barn wedding filled with rustic and elegant decoration , a ton of local vendors, and a sunset love filled portrait session.
Tyler and Alaina’s beautiful end-of-summer Sunday wedding at Willow Tree in Tipp City, Ohio. The day was filled with emotion, laughter, and most importantly FUN. These two made sure the day was positive, relaxing, and filled with hanging out with their family and friends. So many awesome vendors came together to make Alaina and Tyler’s wedding day the best. So lucky I got to be the one to document it.
Have you ever seen Iron Man march down the aisle and guard the rings?
I didn’t, until this day. 👊🏻

I’m pretty sure these two got the last summer day in September. 95º F+ and these two looking flawless. Seriously can’t handle how freaking cute they are. The sweetest couple and Katie honestly couldn’t stop smiling and laughing at Mitchell. THE BEST LOVE.

So this was a pretty epic shoot day. Heidi and Ritchie were heading to NYC from Amsterdam to celebrate their wedding anniversary. I was seriously honored I was chosen to run around the city on the 4th of July and take photos of them in love.
They are also AWESOME photographers who own a husband and wife wedding photography business back in Amsterdam!
They spoiled me with a coffee date, taking me to breakfast in Central Park and taking portraits of me too!! Seriously...so amazing.
Heidi and I still talk weekly and I am currently I awe of Ritchie's new drone work. 🙌
We started at Coney Island at sunrise, and oh man!! So freaking awesome. After we were done at Coney Island, we headed to The Brooklyn Bridge thinking all those iconic bridge views from between the building were from that bridge but they are really from The Manhatten Bridge! Afterward, we grabbed some coffee and a snack because we had already done 2 hours of shooting with ZERO coffee. 😳 Finally caffeinated up (thanks Ritchie!!) we took a taxi to Soho! We found a few awesome stoops that allowed us to sit on them and snap some photos. Most had a chain on them or required payment since it's so popular! We ended our 6-hour adventure in Central Park! We took a few photos by the fountain, watched The Chosen Crew perform (poor Ritchie got chosen to be in their show haha), and then they treated me to breakfast at a lovely breakfast spot in the middle of the park!
It was sad when we parted ways honestly. I always hated having to say bye to my couples but this time was different. They were going to be halfway across the world when I am used to doing local work. So happy and blessed to have the relationship with them that I do, though. 💘
Daniel and Carolyn, OMG. These two are madly in love and this gallery proves it.
They made my job easy and stayed latched onto eachother the entire time. My favorite part was the constant laughing with breaks of quiet and intimate affection shared between them.
We were hoping for this hard rainfall that was supposed to come through to photograph in, but it's Ohio so it didn't happen! We still went on and photographed in the Stillwater River in Englewood, Ohio.
Hellllo summer! Ohio's unpredictable weather is in full swing and this session almost didn't happen! It was supposed to storm pretty bad from 7p-9p, the exact time of our session. I told them I wasn't going to cancel unless it started to rain, plus they were around the corner so they weren't too far to drive. SO GLAD WE HELD OUT. All that rain downpoured right before the session and we had 2 hours to photograph. Which also meant that we pretty much had the area to ourselves minus the beaver, racoon, and herons.
Tyler and Bailey are one of my 2018 couples and I am stoked for their wedding in October. These too are so freaking fun. It was bff's at first meeting when we all had a love for craft beer and traveling. We even traded craft beers we both had after the session. ALL THE IPA'S & WHEATS!
We ended up shoot at various spots at the Englewood Metropark and even found a few hidden gems during our venture to the river. The trail to the river, was a little tricky. I am glad they forgave me for the crazy treck. We pretty much almost wiped out going up and down the muddiest banks of a dried up creek. I think my camera took the worst but it was a great laughed filled end to the session. Enjoy this gallery filled with laughter, snuggles, and exploring.
If you haven't yet, check out their engagement styled session two galleries back, STUNNING! While in Banff, we also shot an elopement inspired session in the mountains of Kananaskis.
