An October fall wedding at The Buckeye Barn in Piqua, Ohio. A lavender toss, vintage Chevrolet, roller-skate speech, and a glow-stick end of the night send off.
Daniel and Carolyn, OMG. These two are madly in love and this gallery proves it.
They made my job easy and stayed latched onto eachother the entire time. My favorite part was the constant laughing with breaks of quiet and intimate affection shared between them.
We were hoping for this hard rainfall that was supposed to come through to photograph in, but it's Ohio so it didn't happen! We still went on and photographed in the Stillwater River in Englewood, Ohio.
Hellllo summer! Ohio's unpredictable weather is in full swing and this session almost didn't happen! It was supposed to storm pretty bad from 7p-9p, the exact time of our session. I told them I wasn't going to cancel unless it started to rain, plus they were around the corner so they weren't too far to drive. SO GLAD WE HELD OUT. All that rain downpoured right before the session and we had 2 hours to photograph. Which also meant that we pretty much had the area to ourselves minus the beaver, racoon, and herons.
Tyler and Bailey are one of my 2018 couples and I am stoked for their wedding in October. These too are so freaking fun. It was bff's at first meeting when we all had a love for craft beer and traveling. We even traded craft beers we both had after the session. ALL THE IPA'S & WHEATS!
We ended up shoot at various spots at the Englewood Metropark and even found a few hidden gems during our venture to the river. The trail to the river, was a little tricky. I am glad they forgave me for the crazy treck. We pretty much almost wiped out going up and down the muddiest banks of a dried up creek. I think my camera took the worst but it was a great laughed filled end to the session. Enjoy this gallery filled with laughter, snuggles, and exploring.
Megan and Cameron are BACK! You might have seen their gorgeous fall + stormy session a handful of galleries back, but they are back with a woodland feel. These two needed pictures and I desperately wanted to shoot a different look, so it was perfect timing. So, they let me styled them and what turned out was perfect.
We did the whole session at The Englewood Metro Park here in Ohio. We started at on a trail close by and ventured out to cool spots and of course ended in the Stillwater River. These two are the kindest and genuine friends and clients a girl could have the pleasure to work with. They were so excited the whole time and always trust my vision, even if it is a bit odd and daring.
After you browse, check out the bottom to find out where I got all the aspects of their outfits! Enjoy, y'all!

Jeremy and Amanda came down two hours to shoot in Kananaskis Country in Banff on a beautiful April afternoon. They drove their own 1969 Cherolet Chevelle and brought their doggo and little one. This kick ass 70's inspired session could not have been more perfect.
You will probably see some of these photographs pop up under my Journal-Roadtrip page because it was that awesome! SSAA is an awesome company putting on styled shoots all across america for professional and hobby enthused photographers. This particular styled shoot was held at the end of the 2018 SSAA Conference in Dallas, Texas! Have a looksy.
A HUGE shout out to the long list of patient and generous vendors who brought this weekend to life and gave us something out of this world to photograph.

Emily and Cassie are bestfriends who wanted to just have a fun session together. July in Ohio, you know it was a hot and humid session. We found a small wildflower prairie and shot at sunset, which was still a scorcher. Their session gave me a total Lana Del Rey vibe and I played her albums the whole session. I need to bring my portable speaker with me more often because these two nailed it! Love love love these sort of shoots, y'all!
This was one of those themed and artsy styled shoot. Put on by local vendors, this Viking inspired shoot was smack dab in the middle of the woods outside of The Grand Barn at The Mohicans. This place is just a giant treehouse for adults and gorgeous even in the middle of January. Samantha and Cody were amazing and pulled off this themed styled shoot so so well.
Megan and Cam aren't engaged, yet. We did this fun couples session when they realized they didn't have any photos together. We were a little nervous going into the session as a huge storm was due to roll through during our session, yay Ohio! We are so glad we shot anyway because between the wind and the dark stormy cloud it gave this session so much emotion.
